Hope Landing Recovery Program

A Faith Based Christ Centered Recovery Program

At Hope Landing, we help women from all walks of life recover from harmful life cycle patterns. We not only disciple and mentor these women, but also teach them life skills, parenting skills, job skills, educational skills, and more. We meet women where they are, and have developed short and long term programs that are tailored to fit their needs and goals. Our mission with these women is to encourage, mentor, and guide them into an independent and stable living environment, free from abuse and substances.

We follow a strict Intake Interview process in enrolling women into our program. Only women who exhibit the desire to change their harmful life cycle patterns are accepted into the program. Our program is NOT a drug & rehabilitation program, nor is it a homeless shelter. It is a recovery program for women who are ready to make a commitment to change their lives and need some accountability and an encouraging spiritual support system.

Cornerstones to Recovery

Spiritual Mentoring
With a focus on the practical applications of Christian teachings, women enrolled in our program not only learn how to change deeply entrenched, self-destructive behavior but to discover a new identity in Christ that makes these changes possible.

Parental Guidance
In this area of the program, we focus on changing the destructive life cycle patterns to create a better environment for children. We help these women become independent and on the road to being a stable, capable parent.

Life Skills

One of our main goals is to teach women to develop a healthy work ethic, learn new skills, and the importance of teamwork with a good attitude. We teach responsibility for their own living space & the importance of serving others.

Socially Responsible Behaviors
We teach women to eliminate corrupt, irresponsible or unethical behavior, and replace those with sociably responsible behaviors and respectable attitudes.

FAQ's

Where are the women from that you help?  The women we help are from all over SW Missouri. We don't have a cap on where we'll accept women from, but we try to focus primarily on the closest areas.

Do women have to accept our faith to join the program?   No. We would never force that on any woman entering our program. However, the program is faith based and we believe that Jesus is the answer for the permanent healing they need.

Is there a cost to the program? Yes. We charge an entry fee of $125 for the program and we also have the women contribute 1/3 of their income a program fees once they have an outside job. We believe that the fee is important to help women take responsibility for their own recovery. However, we do have individuals and churches that are willing to give scholarships, so there are options for women to receive help getting into the program.

How long is the program?  The program is designed to be approximately nine to twelve months long. When we feel that a woman can exit the program with independence is the time we feel she's ready to be released. We have no set time frame and no set limit on how long they can be there, but that serves as a guide.

Is the program government funded? No. We receive no funding from the government and rely completely on private, corporate, and churches for funding.
