Sandy's Eats & Sweets provides area residents with healthy, affordable meals, while also providing on the job training and mentoring for students enrolled in our training program. The training program is community-based, flexible, and focused on building strong families and businesses. Training through Sandy’s includes, but is not limited to: mentoring, inventory tracking, learning to work as part of a team, scheduling, and learning to manage daily operations of a restaurant. Hartville’s Family & Consumer Sciences and Business teachers work cooperatively with the Eatery to place students and support their work experiences.
Sandy’s Eats & Sweets menu includes sandwiches, wraps, soups, pastries, cookies, and specialty goods and the hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. The Eatery also has a classroom and a meeting space available for rent to school, community, and church groups.
