The mission of the Thrive Center is to provide resources, tools, and programs that are community based, family strengthening, and inspire positive development and enduring excellence to help our local communities thrive. Thrive will provide a safe, encouraging, forward-thinking environment to inspire others for lives of significance and service through education, training, mentoring, and healthy living. The Thrive Center consists of two buildings that both sit in the heart of our community. Once the center and Annex is remodeled, it will include an eatery, spaces for a community classroom, meeting rooms, study rooms, a game room, a laundry room, a kitchen for training purposes, a multipurpose room for events, and an eatery to help supplement income. The Community Betterment Foundation has partnered with several organizations to not only enhance the programs we will be offering once the Center is opened, but also to help in the planning process. |
Thank you for joining us on this journey. It's not easy taking on huge projects in a community this small. It takes a lot of time, and a lot of volunteer commitment and time. It is our desire for this project to include anyone with a heart for small town community from start to finish. The Thrive Center will serve the community utilizing programs designed to support and empower our economically disadvantaged community. Together with our community partners, we hope to help our communities become a better place to live.
